First One

Well lets see...the last week has been very eventful in my life. Starting with October 31st. Amber and I celebrated our 7th anniversary on that day. I still can't quite believe that it has been 7 years already, and at the same time I am so thankful for everyday and every challenge that we have experienced together. November 1st was another wonderful day that I will never forget. Amber and I had our wedding ceremony on that beautiful afternoon. Our family's were both there and it was a great day. That night we were treated to a beautiful stay at Legacy Lodge (in a villa!) and dinner at Windows. The room was breathtaking to say the least. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful, loving wife who I couldn't imagine my life without. My wife and daughter are by far the most important things in my life and they both bring me great joy and sense of purpose. I love you both!!!

I also experience one of the most historically important moments in my generation. The man who I first watched in 2004 at the DNC, and I said after his speech that he will be the next President of the United States of America. Barack Obama was elected the next President on November 4th at just after 11pm. His journey from losing his first race in the House of Representatives to becoming our President elect is truly amazing. As I sit at work I can only think of my daughter studying the events and watching the speeches of this election, just as I studied Martin Luther King Jr., John F. Kennedy, and F.D.R. I was genuinely moved on that night and it too will be a night that I will never forget.
